10-year-old Ben Tennyson's life changes forever when he finds a mysterious device called the Omnitrix Prototype, giving him the ability to transform into 10 different alien heroes. As Ben, Gwen, and Grandpa Max start their summer vacation together, they encounter strange uprisings and encounters with villians, aliens, and situations that are just seemingly out of the ordinary. Soon, the Tennysons learn of Vilgax, an evil alien conqueror, who does everything in his power to obtain the Omnitrix. With that encounter, Ben and Gwen soon learn that their grandfather is no ordinary plumber.
